David Lee Clopton, age 72 , of Louisville, KY, passed away Thursday, (December 12, 2019) at the University of Louisville Hospital.

He was born on December 23, 1946 in Grayson County, KY, the son of the late Hal and Lena Buster Clopton.

He was a retired truck driver, who enjoyed cars, guitars, country music, and watching westerns.

He is survived by two sisters, Sandy Hiser (Kendall "Buck") and Phyllis Mattingly both of Louisville. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Clopton.

David will be interred at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, (December 15, 2019) at Scott Cemetery.
