David Lee Logsdon, age 56, of McDaniels, KY, passed away Wednesday, (November 1, 2006) at his residence.
He was born on May 12, 1950, in Leitchfield, KY, the son of Rev. James R. and Pauline Oller Logsdon. He was a self-employed painter and was a member of the Grayson County Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his wife of twenty four years, Loretta Blanton Logsdon, his mother, Pauline Logsdon of Leitchfield, four sons, Andy (Pam) Logsdon of Clarkson, KY, Jamie Logsdon of Leitchfield, Wayne (Marcia) Hack of McDaniels, and Roy (Stephanie) Hack of Leitchfield, seven grandchildren, Chelsea, Brittany, Hunter, Catey, Colby, Kelsey and Corbin, one great grandchild, Christopher Lee, two brothers, Bernard of Leitchfield, and Richard Logsdon of Bardstown, KY, two sisters, Gloria Hackaday of Brandenburg, KY and Cathy Mudd of Elizabethtown, KY, two God brothers, Howard and Jeff Hester of Leitchfield, along with many brothers-in-law, Sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. James R. Logsdon.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday (November 4, 2006) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bros. J. H. Manion and Joe Blanton Jr. will be officiating. Burial will be in the Logsdon Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 5:00 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. until time of service Saturday.
