David D. Thacker, age 23, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (July 27, 2011) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.

He was born on October 23, 1987, in Louisville, KY the son of Robert and Tammy Farris Thacker. He was a member of the Corinth Baptist Church at McQuady, KY.

He is survived by his wife, Martina Thacker, one daughter, Emma Masters of Leitchfield, his mother, Tammy Thacker of Leitchfield, his brother and sister, Bobby and Tiffany Thacker both of Leitchfield, his maternal grandmother, Sara Farris of Leitchfield, his paternal grandparents, Ronnie and Edwina Thacker of Lexington, KY, and his father and mother-in-law, Charles and Christina Chambers of Breckinridge County, KY. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Thacker and his grandfather, David L. Farris.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday (July 30, 2011) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Dr. David Adams will be officiating. Burial will be in the Leitchfield Memory Gardens.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
