David Jeffrey Wilson, 53, of Brandenburg formerly of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (April 3, 2011).
He was born on October 6, 1957, at Ft. Huachuca, AZ, the son of Roy C. and Cuba Wilson. He served in the U.S. Army, was a construction worker, and worked with the elderly.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Ruby Jo Wilson, a son, David Jay Wilson of Brandenburg, a daughter, Cami Jo (Mike) Clair of Shepherdsville, his mother Cuba Watson of Leitchfield, 3 brothers, Jerry Wilson, Joe Watson, and James Watson all of Leitchfield, a sister, Judy Alvey of Leitchfield, 2 grandsons, Liam and Julian Clair, an aunt, Mary Gore of Louisville, and an uncle, Charles Wilson of Owensboro. He was preceded in death by his father Roy C. Wilson, a brother Derrick Wilson and his step-father Joe Watson.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday (April 6, 2011) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Joe Watson will be officiating. Burial will be in the Claggett Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 3:00 .m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
