Daymon Blane Hack, age 83, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday, (May 18, 2015) at his home with his wife by his side.
He was born on July 21, 1931 in Caneyville, KY, the son of the late Homer and Zella Mudd Hack.
He was a farmer and a heavy equipment operator, who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Brownsville General Baptist Church and attended Welch's Creek General Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Norma Jean Bailes Hack, 2 sons, Ronnie Edward Hack (Nola), Michael Wayne Hack (Wandena), 4 grandchildren, Brandon Michael, Tiffany Cherie, Corey Blane, and Codey Alan Hack, 5 step grandchildren, Aaron and TJ Mudd, Jordan White, Ashley and Jacob Vincent, 3 great grandchildren, Gannon, Zoey and Adalie Nicole Hack, 1 step great grandchild, Emma Grace Gray.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, R.W., James, and Raymon Hack and two sisters, Nellie Mudd and Imogene Hack.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, (May 22, 2015) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bros. Ed Cockriel and Neil Carnes will be officiating. Burial will be in the Sanders Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
