Debbie Banet, age 61 , of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday, (May 09, 2022) at her residence.

She was born on June 16, 1960 in Covington, KY, the daughter of the late Charles "Gene" Beach and Marie Winchel. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She enjoyed spending time with her grandbabies, family and friends. She loved to watch her shows on TV, work puzzle books and sitting on the front stoop chatting with her neighbors.

She is survived by her two sons, Michael Curry Sr. and Cody Banet; a daughter, Jesse Banet, all of Leitchfield; nine grandchildren: Brittany Sexton, Michael Curry, Jr., Tristen Curry, Dalton Curry, Sha'Haily Decker, Madilyn Davis, Dakota Banet, Kimbria Banet and Colton Banet; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Buddy Beach (Missy); and four sisters, Pam Swift (Allan), Cathy Englund, Connie Blanton (Larry) & Sandy Paynter (Chuck). Several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene Beach and Marie Winchel, and a step-father Gene Winchel.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, (May 13, 2022) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Jeremy Hodge will be officiating. Burial will be in the Calvert Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Dermitt Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
