Obituary
Delores Gibson Barrett, age 82, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (January 2, 2014) at Grayson Manor Nursing Home in Leitchfield, KY.
She was born on September 7, 1931 in Grayson Co., KY, the daughter of the late Julian Ray and Maggie Lee Curtan Stinson.
She was retired from Grayson Manor and a member of the Hanging Rock Baptist Church.
She is survived by five daughters, Shirley Gibson, Donna Smith, Mary Cannon, Janetta Carroll and Rebecca Smith all of Leitchfield, six sons, Larry, Jimmy, William and Vance Gibson all of Leitchfield, Dale of St Paul, KY and Doug Gibson of Clarkson, KY, 39 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren, one brother, James Stinson of Elizabethtown, KY.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Murel Gibson and her second husband, Glendell Barrett and a son Charles Ray Gibson.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, (January 5, 2014) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Hank Gibson and Bro. Chester Shartzer will be officiating. Burial will be in the Claggett Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. Sunday until time of services.
