Dennis Kersey, age 66, of Clarkson, KY, passed away Saturday, (July 8, 2023) at Kensington Manor in Elizabethtown, KY.

He was born on April 08, 1957 in Louisville, KY, the son of Shirley Anne Buckley Kersey and his biological father Lawrence Woods; and was raised by his adoptive father, the late Cordis Kersey.

He was a retired truck driver who enjoyed hunting, fishing and anything that involved being outdoors.

He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Barrett (Brandon) of Clarkson, & Lindsay Brooke Kersey; a granddaughter, Hannah Beatty; a grandson, Julian Torres; two brothers, James Kersey of Spencer County, KY and Kevin Kersey of Louisville; one sister, Shelly Kersey also of Louisville; his mother, Shirley Kersey of Louisville; and a close neighbor and friend, Janet Orick of Clarkson. Several nieces and nephews also survive

He was preceded in death by his adoptive father, Cordis Kersey.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation was chosen.
