Dennis Brant Whitaker, age 39, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Friday, (June 19, 2020) in Leitchfield.

He was born on August 13, 1980 in Hardin County, KY, the son of Rick and Anna King Whitaker.

He was a truck driver for Track Side Rentals, who enjoyed all kinds of trucks (especially semis) and tractors. He married his wife, Jeanie Bruner Whitaker on September 4, 2014.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanie Whitaker; children, Kelsey and Kolt Brantley Whitaker; step-son, Joseph Wyatt Miller; his parents, Rick and Anna Whitaker; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Martin and Lorene King, "Moon" Elbert and Nancy Whitaker and his uncle, Jimmy Dale King.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, (June 23, 2020) at the Church of Joy in Leitchfield. Bro. Nathan Lowe will be officiating. Burial will be in the New Hope-Sadler Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Church of Joy from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday and from 9:00 AM Tuesday until time of services.
