Dessie Allen Goodman , age 91, of Morgantown, KY, passed away Monday (November 8, 2010) at Professional Health Care and Rehab at Hartford, KY.

She was born on March 20, 1919, the daughter of Clarence and Mishie (Bratcher) Burden. She was a housewife, and a member of the Zion Harmony Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughters Anna Von Probus and Jewelyn Lee Dockery both of Beaver Dam, 1 brother Opal Burden & 1 sister Velmer Burden both of Morgantown, eight grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Laverne, two brother's Delmer and Roy Burden, one sister Juanita.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday (November 11, 2010) at the Zion Harmony Baptist Church, with Bro's. Wayne Napier and Jay Raymond officiating with interment in the Zion Harmony Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 3:00-9:00 p.m. Tuesday and 11:00 - 9:00 Wednesday and at Zion Harmony Baptist Church after 9:00 A.M. Thursday.
