Dewayne Parks, age 58, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Sunday, (May 01, 2011) at his residence.

He was born on August 02, 1952 , the son of Cecil & Dorothy Woosley Parks.

He is survived by his wife Joyce Geary Parks of Caneyville, 4 sons Anthony (Melinda), Westley (Mary Ann), Cecil (Tiffany), & James Parks all of Caneyville, 4 daughters DeeDee (Tony) Cook, Tammy (Brandon) Foreman, Rachel Parks all of Caneyville & Mary (Stephen) Miller of Leitchfield, 12 grandchildren Jessica, Deanna, Dustin, Colton, Shayla, Zachery, Jacob, Lincoln, Tylor, Karmin, Ashley & Kayla, 6 step grandchildren Alicia, Emelene, Anthony, Dylan, Morgan, & Cheyanne, 6 step great grandchildren Becky, Dylan, Jr., Caleb, Levi, & Kyle, 2 brothers Eugene Parks of Vine Grove & Maxi Parks of Caneyville, 4 sisters Della McCloud of Indiana, Dimple Oller, Evellein Payton & Beverly Smith all of Caneyville. He was preceded in death by his parents & 1 sister Virginia Hamilton.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday (May 03, 2011) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro. Mark Park will be officiating. Burial will be in the Richland Cemetery.
