Diane "Byrd" Lefever, age 67, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (July 31, 2025) at Owensboro Health Twin Lakes in Leitchfield.

She was born on November 27, 1957 in Columbus, OH, the daughter of the late William and Bonnie Sweeney Lefever.

She was a truck driver who enjoyed sewing, making jewelry, riding motorcycles and loved animals, especially dogs. She was a member of the  Christian faith.

She is survived by her son, Jesse Weedman (Brittney Hampton) of Falls of Rough and five grandchildren, Caidence, Landon, Trevor, Jesse & Matthew. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings, Pam Lefever and Bill Lefever.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation was chosen.
