Dianne Boone Scott, age 68, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (September 26, 2015) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.

She was born on December 4, 1946 in Caneyville, KY, the daughter of the late H.H. "Bud" and Ruby Byers Boone.

She was a secretary, who enjoyed reading and working crossword puzzles.

She is survived by two step-sons, Stephen C. Scott (Darci) of Louisville, KY, and Dr. C. Jeff Scott (Nancy) of St. Petersburg, FL; a sister June Purcell of Caneyville; four nephews, Scott McGaha of Dayton, OH, Todd McGaha of Leitchfield, Allen Tabor of Caneyville, Jamie Tabor of Short Creek, KY; two nieces, Alicia M. Carter of Clarkson, KY and Teresa G. Boone of Lexington, KY.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Carley Scott, a brother David G. Boone and a sister, Opal Boone.

Cremation was chosen and a Gathering of Friends will be held at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield on Thursday, (October 1, 2015) from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
