Obituary
Dolus Meredith Hayes, 85, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (September 8, 2013) at Fordsville Nursing and Rehab Center in Fordsville KY.
She was born on July 14, 1928 in Bee Springs, KY, the daughter of Hillery and Vergie Lowe Meredith.
She enjoyed quilting and sewing and loved her flowers.
She is survived by, 2 daughters, Judy Jones of Gallatin, TN, Flo Navarro of Clarkson, KY, a son, Jason Hayes of Leitchfield, KY, 2 grandchildren, Patrick Langston and Robert (Sandy) Langston, 3 great grandchildren, Melia, Joshua and Jaylen, a sister, Onis Meredith of Caneyville, KY and several nieces and nephews.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 61 years Floyd Hayes.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, (September 11, 2013) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield with Bro. Buddy Brooks officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
