Obituary
Donald Claude McCubbin, age 67 of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (February 8, 2015) at the Norton's Hospital in Louisville, KY.
He was born on February 6, 1948, the son of the late Claude and Louise Gaddie McCubbin.
He was an owner of McCubbin's Appliance Repair, who enjoyed reading books, especially history books; He was a 1966 graduate of Leitchfield High School and a member of the Leitchfield First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his sister, Susan Stivers (Mac) of Frankfort KY, a sister-in-law, Pat McCubbin and a brother-in-law, Bill Penick, his nieces and nephews, along with their families, William G and Laura McCubbin, Sarah Smith, Susan Graham, Beth Blakeley and Ben Stivers.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ginger Penick and a brother, William G McCubbin.
Cremation was chosen and a memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, (February 12, 2015) at the Dermitt Funeral Home. Dr. Chuck Queen will be officiating.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
