Donald Raymond Turci, Jr., age 67, beloved husband, father and grandfather returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday, December 10, 2021 in Leitchfield, Kentucky.  Don was born August 28, 1954 in Peekskill, New York to Donald Raymond Turci and Joan Marie Gilbert.

Don served proudly in the United States Army, with honorable discharge.  Don Loved to visit with people and those around him enjoyed his quick humor and banter. Don shared his Patriotism Freely.  His love for conversation verifies the probability that "Don never met a stranger," just a new friend to visit with.

Don married,   "the Love of his Life" and   "Soulmate" Jean Blanche Peterson on November 18, 1988 in Magna, Utah.  He adopted her two sons, Casey James Turci and Alan Wayne Turci, loving and raising them as his own.  Both Don & Jean were previously married with children.  Not having biological children together didn't stop them from filling their home with children. Don & Jean opened their Home and Hearts to multiple foster children.  Fostering children some with special needs, adopting multiple children, filled their busy loving home with activity.

Don greatly enjoyed working for Daily Express, as a heavy haul -truck driver. Don and Jean worked hard to maintain their trucking business, home and family farm. Their children and family always came first. Don was loved by many and will live in our Hearts always.

Don is survived by his wife Jean Blanche Peterson Turci; five children: Casey Turci (Leslie), Alan Turci, Tim Turci, Bob Turci, Mandi Jo Turci; four grandchildren: Morgan, Trevor, Sydnee, Riley; and three siblings; Kathleen Wiley, Beverly White, Joan Marie McCloskey.

Other than his parents, Donald & Joan Turci, Don was preceded in death by three siblings, Joseph Turci, Diane Losee and Katrina Cummings; and a granddaughter, Anna Turci.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation was chosen.
