Donna Ann Lush White, age 74, of Owensboro, KY, passed away Thursday, (August 28, 2025) at Owensboro Regional Health in Owensboro, KY.

She was born on February 28, 1951 in Houston, TX, the daughter of the late Hubert and Hessie Alice Clark Lush.

She retired as a cake decorator from Wal-Mart after working 20 years. Donna enjoyed spending time with her loving family, both her children and her grandchildren. Her favorite hobby was going shopping. She loved crafting, reading, and writing poetry. She also loved watching Gun Smoke on television. Donna was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Madisonville, KY.

She is survived by her children, Chip White (Nicole), Carrie Ann Sandefur (Chris), Jennifer Rainey (Kevin), Joey White, Tyler White (Beverly), and Brandon White (Cassandra); grandchildren, Whitney Lutz (Ryan), Gabe Sandefur, Logan Hopper, Elliot White, Gavin Pendley, Jeffrey Brown, and Malorie White; siblings, Billy Lush, Charles Lush, Wanda Kersey, and Linda Rodarte. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Dale White, Sr., whom she married in 1971; and her sister, Carolyn White.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, (September 3, 2025) at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Leitchfield. Father Thomas will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Elizabeth Catholic Cemetery in Clarkson. Prayer services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, from 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday until 10:45 a.m., at which time we will leave for the church for the service.
