Donnie Gene Lindsey, age 75, of Falls of Rough, KY, passed away Thursday, (September 2, 2021) at Hardinsburg Nursing and Rehab.

He was born on August 18, 1946 in Caneyville, KY, the son of the late Eardie and Cora (Langdon) Lindsey.

He was a truck driver for 46 years. He enjoyed hunting, farming, working and staying busy, attending church and always wanted to help others. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lida Erue Lindsey of Falls of Rough; two sons, Robert Lindsey (Patty Mudd) of Leitchfield and Terry Lindsey (Cerenia) of Clinton, TN: five grandchildren, Joshua, Kalib, Ashton, Konner (Amanda) and Chase Lindsey; two great-grandchildren, Paisley and Eli Lindsey; sister, Lucille Dudgeon, brothers, Earl and Sammy Lindsey; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Kennison, and two brothers, James and Leroy Lindsey.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday October 10, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lone Star Church of Christ with Ray Pack officiating.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. at the church.
