Doretta Lee Coomer Allen, age 88, of Caneyville, KY passed away Monday (August 20, 2007) in Glasgow, Ky.

She was born June 03,1919 in Adair Co., KY, the daughter of Clem P. & Bertha Hamilton Coomer. She was a housewife and a member of the Short Creek Methodist Church.

She is survived by 1 son and daughter-in-law William L. & Alice Allen Jr. of Bowling Green, Ky. 2 granddaughters Natalie & Lauren Allen, 1 sister Elizabeth Moss of Glasgow, Ky. She was preceded in death by her husband William L. Allen Sr. & 5 brothers & 2 sisters.


Funeral services will be held Wednesday 11:00 A.M. August 22, 2007 at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville, Bro. DaWayne Capps officiating. Burial in the Allen Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville 3-9 P.M. Tuesday.
