Doris Crain Dailey, age 81, of Caneyville, KY passed away Sunday, (December 24, 2006) at Leitchfield Health Care Manor in Leitchfield. She was a member of the Old Decker General Baptist Church.
She was born on March 28, 1925, in Spring Lick, KY, the daughter of Jackson & Martha King Embry.
She is survived by 4 sons Clifford (Mary) Crain of Caneyville, Joe Mitchell (Linda) Crain of Caneyville, J.B. (Gladys) Crain of Hodgenville, Jerry (Sandy) Crain of Indiana, 2 daughters Charlotte (Barry) Costello of Georgia & Lynn Bibble of Florida, 3 sisters Rennie Mincer of Central City, Ada Woodcock of Morgantown & Bertha Crain of Leitchfield, 28 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren & 7 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday (December 28, 2006) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville, with Bro. Larry Lacefield officiating. Burial will be in the Wilson Home Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 1:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday.
