Obituary
Doris Raymer Day , age 82 of Caneyville, Ky. passed away Tuesday May 31, 2011 at her residence.
She was born on November 20, 1928 the daughter of Walter & Clara Swift Raymer. She was a housewife, teacher, gardener, seamstress and a member of the Caneyville Church of Christ.
She is survived by a son, Johnny Day of Bowling Green, a daughter, Judy Franzell (Roger) of Caneyville, a grandson, Matthew Day of Bowling Green and a brother, Willie Raymer of Shepherdsville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Rodney Day, an infant daughter, Jackie Lynn Day, a brother Nophus Raymer and a sister, Hazel Dockery.
Funeral services will be Friday June 3, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville, Bro Vernon Gary officiating with interment in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville, Thursday 3:00-8:00 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. Friday.
