Doris Faye Gross, age 74, of Big Clifty, KY, passed away Friday, (August 22, 2025) at Owensboro Health Twin Lakes in Leitchfield, KY.

She was born on January 20, 1951 in Hardin County, KY, the daughter of the late Claude and Nora Lucas Howard.

She worked with her husband at Jackie's Auto and Truck Parts and enjoyed shopping, farming, eating out and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her three sons, Jody Love (Bonnie), Steven Love (Pam) both of Big Clifty, Kevin Love (Ashley) of Clarkson; nine grandchildren, Jordan (Alivia Buley), Kobe, Lukas, Katelynn, Keaton, Ashley, Codi, Sophie, & William; three step-grandchildren, Kaylyn, Madison, & Preston; five great-grandchildren, Kinsley, Ryder, Benton, Owen & Conner; and a sister, Ola Mae Webb of Brownsville. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Gross; two brothers, Arvil and Marvin Howard; and a sister, Mae Fern Elliott.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, (August 29, 2025) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Leroy Routte will be officiating. Burial will be in the Fairfield Cemetery in Eastview.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
