Obituary
Dorothy M. Edwards, age 86, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (January 16, 2013) at Springview Health and Rehab in Leitchfield.
She was born on September 5, 1926 in Hart Co, KY, the daughter of the late John and Mary Bishop Denton.
She was a housewife, who enjoyed quilting and was a member of the Lone Star Church of Christ.
She is survived by two sons, Randall Keith Edwards of Richmond, KY, Terry Edwards and his wife, Mary, of Leitchfield, one daughter, Carla Seaton and her husband, Garry, of Caneyville, three grandchildren, Alex Seaton of Caneyville, Matthew Edwards of Leitchfield, and Tammy Edwards-Morgan of Orlando, FL, four great grandchildren, Amanda Asay, Tyler and Travis Morgan and Joplyne Edwards, three great-great grandchildren, Hannah, Lucas and Lillie Belle Asay, and one sister, Dixie Short of Campbellsville, KY.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, a grandson, Kevin Edwards and three brothers, Sam, Roy "Bud" and Tom Denton.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, (January 19, 2013) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Ray Pack and Bro. Roger Chaffins will be officiating. Burial will be in the Leitchfield Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
