Obituary
Dorothy Rea House, age 59, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Saturday, (March 1, 2008) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.
She was born on December 19, 1948, in Grayson County KY, the daughter of Garfield and Bessie Hayes Poole. She was a retired line lead person at Leggett and Platt and was a member of the Stones View Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Edith Miller and her husband, Scott of Caneyville and Hanna House and her fiancé, Curt Linton of Leitchfield, one son, John Ramsey Jr. of Leitchfield, her sisters, Mary Katherine Kiper of Bloomington, IL, Anna Wohlscheid, Alice Patterson, Frances McCombs and Edith Burnett all of Leitchfield and Virginia Vincent of Falls of Rough, KY, her grandchildren, Emily Linton and Christopher Saltsman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy House, two brothers, Jerry and Henry Poole and a sister, Ruie Wohlscheid.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday (March 4, 2008) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Delmar Williams will be officiating. Burial will be in the Taylor Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
