Dorothy Mae "Dot" Logsdon, age 80, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Tuesday, (January 22, 2013) in Louisville, KY.
She was born on September 19, 1932 in Edmonson Co., KY, the daughter of the late James and Myrtle Priddy Ray.
She was a homemaker, who enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Shrewsbury Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence Logsdon, one son, Gary Logsdon and his wife, Janice of Leitchfield, three grandchildren, Shary Newton (Bryan), Farrah and Joseph Logsdon all of Leitchfield, two great grandchildren, Bryanna Mae and William Thomas Newton, three sisters, Mary Jane Logsdon, Aline Stewart and Willa Dean Tate, two brothers, James and Tommie Ray and several nieces and nephews.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Roma and Henry Ray, and one sister, Catherine Ray.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, (January 25, 2013) at Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Damon Lasley and Bro. Trevor Ray will be officiating. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
