Obituary
Dorothy Green Logsdon Kesterson, age 88, of Louisville, KY, passed away Friday, (October 26, 2012) at the Rockford Manor Nursing Facility in Louisville, Kentucky.
She was born on February 20, 1924 in Adair County, KY, the daughter of the late Anderson and Zonie Blackley Green.
She was a housewife and a member of the Antioch General Baptist Church.
She is survived by 3 grandchildren, Russell, Kevin and Dewayne Logsdon and 9 great grandchildren, a daughter-in-law, Phyllis Logsdon, 3 step children, Shirley Knight, Roy and Troy Kesterson, 5 step grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of nephews and nieces.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 husbands, Hubert Logsdon, the father of her children, and Glen Kesterson, 2 sons, Arnold Lee and Larry Logsdon and 3 infant sons, 2 brothers, Dennis and Norman Green, and 2 sisters, Flossie Gilbert and Marcella Duncan.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, (October 30, 2012) at Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Wilford Logsdon will be officiating. Burial will be in the Logsdon Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
