Obituary
Dorothy Lee Mattingly, age 77, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Tuesday, (December 8, 2009) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.
She was born on January 30, 1932, in Nelson County, KY. She was a retired kitchen attendant at the Louisville General Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Virgil C Mattingly Jr, two sons, Virgil Mattingly III and Thomas Lee Mattingly both of Caneyville, two daughters, Betty Mattingly of Breckinridge Co., KY and Joyce Corothers of Louisville, KY, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. (December 11, 2009) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro Ed Dermitt will be officiating. Burial will be in the Sanders Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of service.
