Dorothy M. Parks, age 83, of Brookesville, FL, passed away Sunday, (May 3, 2020) at Bayfront Health in Brookesville.

She was born on February 20, 1937 in Louisville, KY, the daughter of the late Oscar and Barbara Cook McKinney.

She was a secretary for a life insurance company who enjoyed reading and attending church. She was a member of the Pentecostal Faith.

She is survived by her children, Barbara Parks of Clarkson, KY, Annette Cornish (Ron) and Steve Peach (Kathy) both of Louisville, Lisa Aspell (Rob) of Springhill, FL and Kathy Black (Willie) also of Louisville; 12 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; five sisters, Pearl Waldridge, June Picklesimer, Jean Barnes, Lucille Freeman, and Helen Mattingly, all of Lawrenceburg, KY. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daymon Parks; a son-in-law, Douglas Parks; and a granddaughter, Lisa Baker.
