Obituary
Dorothy Spears, age 80, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away, Monday (September 11, 2017) at her residence.
She was born on September 10, 1937 in Pineville, KY, the daughter of the late James and Lillie Napier Knuckles.
She was a housewife, who enjoyed playing with her grandchildren and fishing.
She is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Gibson, Linda Haag (Rick), Lora Dillon (Brian), and Joyce Imbrescia (Randy); Stepson, Michael Nunn (Kathy); 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sister, Ellen Porter; brother, Ray Knuckles; and many, many nieces and nephews also survive.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Jim Spears and longtime companion James Nunn.
Funeral services will be at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, (September 13, 2017) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Doug Edwards and Bro. Johnny Knuckles will be officiating. Cremation will follow.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. Wednesday until time of services.
