Dorothy Virginia Velmers, age 85, of Caneyville, KY passed away Thursday (June 21, 2007) at Grayson Manor.
She was born on October 23,1921 in Mason City, Iowa the daughter of Vern & Hazel McCall Schram.
She is survived by husband Janis Velmers of Caneyville, 1 daughter Barbara Day of Caneyville, 2 sons Jerry Luecht of Illinois, Craig Luecht of Colorado, 1 brother Everett Schram of California, 8 grandchildren & 8 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Sunday (June 24, 2007) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville. Rev. Buddy Brooks will be officiating. Burial in the Layman Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and after 9:00 a.m. Sunday until time of service.
