Obituary

Douglas Harold Esto, 72, passed away Saturday October 24, 2015, at Grayson Manor in Leitchfield, Kentucky.

He was born on August 1, 1943, the son of Frank and Marie (Davis) Esto.

He was retired from Corhart Refractories in Louisville, Kentucky after 28 years of dedicated service.

Doug professed his salvation on February 25, 1997. He told of how his heart was troubled and the Lord saved his soul in his home. He joined Zion United Baptist Church through experience and baptism. Although his health prevented him from attending, he remained a member of Zion until his death.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Marie (Davis) Esto, two sisters, Helen Botto and Hattie Owens.

He is survived by his wife, Ann (Miller) Esto; two children, Gregory of South Carolina and Kimberly (Mitchell) Hilton of South Carolina; three step-children, Lisa (Paul Wayne) Woosley and Jeffrey (Jennifer) Miller, of Caneyville and Angela Shoffner of Leitchfield, ten grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Although Doug will be missed by friends and family, we take comfort in knowing we will meet again.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, (October 27, 2015) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Cecil Williams will be officiating. Burial will be in the Wilson (Pleasant Union) Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
