Dovie Vincent Grubbs, age 88, of Greensburg, KY, (formerly of Leitchfield) passed away Saturday, (September 29, 2018) at Green Hill Manor in Greensburg, KY.

She was born on May 05, 1930 in Newton Falls, OH, the daughter of the late Guy and Susan Ragland Vincent.

She was a Preschool Teacher at the First Baptist Church who enjoyed reading and working puzzles and was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Leitchfield.

She is survived by her son, Maurice "Reese" Grubbs and his wife Kelly of Campbellsville, KY; two grandchildren, Ryan Grubbs of Campbellsville and Daniel Pawley and his wife Amanda of Russellville, KY. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Maurice Grubbs; and a daughter, Myra Lynn Pawley.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, (October 2, 2018) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. George Smith and Bro. Doug King will be officiating. Burial will be in the Holly Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday and from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
