Obituary
Earl W. Matlock, age 77 of Caneyville, KY, passed away Tuesday (October 13, 2009) at the Bowling Green Medical Center.
He was born on April 23, 1932 the son of Jesse & Rachel Breeden Matlock. He was a retired Boiler Maker, a USAF veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife Fredia Embry Matlock of Morgantown, 4 sons Earl, Ronald, Jessie & Larry Matlock, 6 daughters Cynthia Archiebald, Katherine Matlock, Linda Ford, Teresa Tucker, Denita Lawrence & Lisa Greenwood, 1 brother Danny Matlock, 2 sisters Shirley Bagley & Paula Karr, 23 grandchildren & 25 great grandchildren including a special grandson Nathaniel Bratcher. He was preceded in death by his parents,and 2 brothers Charles & Johnny.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Friday (October 16, 2009) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville with Bro. Joe Watson officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 2:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Thursday, and from 9:00 A.M. until funeral time on Friday.
