Earl Wilson, age 62, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.

Born on April 16th, 1961 to the late Pearl Gipson in Louisville, KY; he was the only son of 7 children.

Earl gave his life to Jesus Christ as a young boy and attended Cross Point Baptist Church. He loved to laugh and tell jokes, have a good meal, and to watch old westerns and comedy movies. Earl also enjoyed listening to bluegrass music, fishing, and going to ball games. Most of all, he cherished spending time with his family and friends who loved him dearly. He will be greatly missed.

Earl is survived by his siblings, Patricia Logsdon (David), Debra Kennedy (Joe), Cathy Brown (John), Courtney Bandurske (Mark), Kimberly Cooper, and Sandra England (Dwight); nieces and nephews, Scotty Hack (Tobie), Michael Kennedy, Christopher Kennedy, Kassie Decker Jonathan), Diana Hawkins (Keith), Karrie Rand (Jr.), Christina Back (Tony), Anthony Powell, Alexandria England (Corey), Louren Snyder (Dylan), Davis Bailey (Courtney), Brandon Bowser (Laura), Amanda Bass (Cameron), and Megan Luedke (Jason); 25 great- nieces and nephews; and 2 great-great-nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, (December 9, 2023) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Jerry Dunaway, Jr. will be officiating. Burial will be in the Claggett Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
