Earnest "Corky" Sanders, age 49, of Clarkson, KY, passed away Thursday, (September 27, 2018) at his home.

He was born on May 13, 1969 in Louisville, KY, the son of Elmer Wessley and Shirley Ann Ashley Sanders.

He was a school bus driver for the Grayson County school system who enjoyed driving on the open road and being a grease monkey. He was a previous member of Washington Meredith Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his spouse, Michelle Sanders of Clarkson; three sons, Mike Miller (Vanessia) of Bee Spring, Darrell "DJ" and Richard Jackson both of Clarkson; granddaughter, Krystyn "Ducky" Miller; grandson, Shane Miller; sister, Debbie Whittle (Danny) of Park City; brother, Buddy Sanders (Becky) of Louisville; parents, Elmer and Shirley Sanders. Several nieces, nephews and constant companion, Pockets also survive.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Ellen Decker and nephew, Christopher Decker.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, (September 30, 2018) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Clarkson Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Sunday until time of services.
