Easol Sanders, age 88, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday (July 03, 2026) at Grayson Manor and Rehab in Leitchfield, KY.

He was born on April 21, 1938 in Edmonson County, KY, the son of the late and Delbert and Alberta Constant Sanders.

He was a friend to all who enjoyed hunting, fishing, working cattle, and attending auctions. A mason for over 60 years, he found joy in being retired for over 40 years from Armour Meat Packing in Louisville. He was married to love of his life Erma Sanders for 66 years until her passing in 2023. He was also a dedicated member of Mulberry Flats United Baptist Church. He also cherished his time spent with his family.

He is survived by his two sons, Bruce Sanders (Rita), and Jeff Sanders (Sylvia), both of Big Clifty; two grandchildren, Bethany Croslin (Kevin), and Tiffany Sanders, all of Bowling Green; 2 great-grandchildren, Eva and Reed Croslin; one brother, David Sanders (Linda); four sisters, Polly Goins, Rachel Haycraft, Nathel Haycraft, and Delores Jones; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Erma Sanders; two brothers, Dennie Sanders, and Osa Sanders; two sisters, Molly Kersey, and Gail Johnson.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, (July 09, 2026) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Jerry Weedman will be officiating. Burial will be in the Anneta Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
