Edna Ree Miller, age 88, of Millwood, KY, passed away Monday, (September 28, 2015) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield, KY.

She was born on May 20, 1927 in Millwood, KY, the daughter of the late Harve and Emma Bradley Newton.

She was a housewife, who enjoyed her beloved pets, Blondie and Lady, reading, walking and spending time with her great grandchildren, and was a member of the Millwood Community Center and the Millwood Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Keown of Millwood, her grandchildren, Bernard Keown Jr. (Marilee), Jimmy Keown, Jackie Parks (Jimmy) and Christie Mann (Rod), her great grandchildren, Brittany, Brice, Adam, Jessica, Jordan, Jennifer, Jocelyn, Nick, Kori, Emili, and Connor, and three great-great grandchildren, one sister, Dorothy Green and several nieces and nephews.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Miller, a son-in-law, Bernard Keown Sr. and six brothers, Elbert (her twin), Lonnie, Norman, Arthur, Raymond, and R.O. Newton.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon Saturday, (October 3, 2015) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Pete Farris will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
