Edna Kerr Saltsman, age 77, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Tuesday, (December 30, 2008) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.

She was born on February 20, 1931, in Grayson County KY, the daughter of Guy and Fronia (Stevenson) Kerr. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Bloomington Baptist Church, and attended the Leitchfield Church of God of Prophecy.

She is survived by one son, Neal (Debbie) Saltsman of Leitchfield, two daughters, Valerie (Michael) Tarrance of Caneyville, and Marilyn Mattingly (Timmy Milliner) of Leitchfield, one brother Milo Kerr of Leitchfield, two sisters, Elaine Tarrance and Winnie Daniels, both of Leitchfield, seven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Charlie Saltsman, one son Kevin Saltsman, one sister Maxine Poteet, and one brother Vernon Kerr.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday (January 02, 2009) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Billy Mason will be officiating. Burial will be in the Landis Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
