Obituary
Edward Ernest Street, age 72, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday, (May 13, 2013) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.
He was born on February 24, 1941 in Louisville, KY, the son of the late Ernest and Ruth Grigsby Street.
He was a retired from Vermont American, and enjoyed his dog, "Lizzie" and spending time on his computer. He was a member of the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Ailene Hayes Street, his father-in-law, Stoy Hayes, his brother-in-law, Eugene Hayes (Ellen) and his sister-in-law, Marcella Carrington (Doug) all of Leitchfield.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Clara Bell Hulbert.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, (May 16, 2013) at Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro Joe Brooks will be officiating. Burial will be in the Claggett cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
