Obituary
Edythe Cockrell, age 89 of Caneyville, KY, passed away Thursday (November 5, 2009) at Springview Rehab. Center at Leitchfield, KY
She was born on July 24, 1920 the daughter of Earnest and Pearl ( Ingram) Swift. She was a cashier for the Grayson Co. School lunch room at Caneyville.
She is survived by one son Ballard (Patsy) Cockrell of Louisville, two daughters, Jo Ann (Richard) Taylor of Caneyville, Kathleen (Foster) Wilson,of Louisville, five grandchildren, five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond, three brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday (November 7, 2009) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville with Bro. Dale Barnes officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Union Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 4:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Friday, and from 9:00 A.M. until funeral time on Saturday.
