Elaine Hack, age 82, of Caneyville, KY, gained her angel wings and entered her heavenly home on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro, KY.

She was born on August 16, 1942 in Butler County, KY, the daughter of the late Charles and Annie Geary Swift.

Elaine was a loving daughter, sister, mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She loved her family dearly. Her smile and laugh would light up a room. She enjoyed spending time with her family playing Canasta, Aggravation and all other games. She loved working in her yard and loved flowers. She also enjoyed attending Mt. Olive Church.

Elaine is survived by her son, Tony White of Owensboro, KY; her daughters, Sandra Mercer, Teresa Burnett (David), & Tammy Mudd (Timmy) all of Caneyville; 12 grandchildren, Tony White Jr., Joshua White, Michael Jones, Louis Jones, Katrina Holderman, Jassmen Hayse, Latisha Ashbaugh, Craig Childers, Travis Childers, Jessica Carroll, Kyra Nelson & Kyler Burnett; 35 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Kenny White, her loving husband of 30 years, Richard Hack; two grandchildren, Richard "Richie" & Cassie; two great-grandchildren, Little Will & Rylee; and all her loving brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, (April 12, 2025) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Glendon Geary and Joseph Williams will be officiating. Burial will be in the Wilson Church Cemetery with Jordan Williams officiating.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, (April 11, 2025) and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
