Obituary

Eleanor Beasley, 79, of Horse Branch KY went to be with Jesus, Sunday, (August 9, 2026) , at her home.

She was born March 22, 1947, in Spring Lick, KY, to the late Clinton Bratcher & Lillie Hayse Casey.

She loved working with the public except for her time at Sumitomo. Her last job was working at Doolin’s Grocery in Horse Branch, KY. She was a mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved spending time with family & friends, she loved cooking for everyone with their favorite desserts for each, no one left hungry.

She is survived by her son, Boris Minton of Horse Branch, KY; her daughter, Angala Elmore (Steve) of Caneyville, KY; two additional sons, Brian Bratcher and Jeff Bratcher (Kelly); six grandchildren, Amanda (Tim), Jessica (Brandon), Tamara (Lee), Chris (Sam), Tisha (Josh), Crystal (Jess); two additional granddaughters, Katie (Brandon) & Kourtney; and eighteen great-grandchildren, Cheyann (Matthew), Ella, Hannah, Terralynn, Jake (Allie), Jackson, Porter, Kyrie, Kayden, Benson, Bradlee, Emelia, Brooklyn, Bryson, Jessalynn and Clara, Harper and Lainey; and two sisters, Doris Renfrow of Beaver Dam and Shirley Dockery of Horse Branch.

Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sherry Foreman; several brothers and sisters, William Casey, Charles Casey, Donald Bratcher, Damon Bratcher, Edna Ashley, & Bonnie Wilson.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, (August 14, 2026) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Travis Renfrow will be officiating. Burial will be in the McCandless Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
