Eleta Joyce Felty, age 88, of Big Clifty, KY, was born on March 6, 1932 in Brooklyn, Butler County, KY. She passed away Saturday, (February 20, 2021) at her home in Big Clifty with her loved ones by her side.

She was the daughter of the late Thurston and Lizzie Phelps Lee.

She was a home-maker and had worked as a seamstress at Phar-Shar Manufacturing. She enjoyed gardening, canning, embroidery and quilting. She was a member of the New Hope Church of Christ in Big Clifty.

She is survived by her son, Mike Felty of Big Clifty; her daughter, Gail Lampton (Elbert) of Big Clifty; six grandchildren, Elbert (Angie) Lampton, Brian (Dawn) Lampton, April (Clint) VanMetre, Jamie Felty, Anthony Felty and Tonya (Jody) Tilford; twelve great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Gwen Embry of Clarkson, Otilda Embry of Pleasure Ridge Park and Regina Thurman (Ralph) of Euclid, Ohio. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Felty, son, Gaylan Felty, parents, Thurston and Lizzie Lee, brother, SJ Lee and sister, Brenda Studer. She was also preceded in death by a close friend, Cecil Embry.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, (February 24, 2021) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield.  Burial will be in the Chapel Union Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
