Elizabeth "Betty" Mae Gannon, age 92, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Friday, (November 07, 2025) at Grayson Nursing and Rehab in Leitchfield.

She was born on September 15, 1933 in McLoughlin, South Dakota, the daughter of the late Loyal Thomas and Oris Catherine Kerr Gannon.

She was a caregiver who enjoyed cooking, cleaning, keeping a tidy home, working puzzles and reading her Bible. She was a member of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her sisters, Hettie Conder (Norman) of Clarkson, KY and Donna Wray of Charlestown, IN; two nephews, Perry Lucas (Jeana Sutphin), and Pat Alvey (Tressie); and four nieces, Kathy Malinvoski (Mike), Portia Ann Ponwith, Nancy Rutherford & Christine Johnson (Doug). Several great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard & Mike Gannon; three sisters, Florence Gannon, Vivian Gannon & Mary Patricia Rutherford; and a stillborn sibling.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, (November 11, 2025) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Joe Blanton will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Anthony Cemetery in Clarkson.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
