Elizabeth Zadigian, age 97, of Brownsville, KY, formerly of Waukegan, IL, passed away Friday, (May 2, 2008) at the Edmonson Health Care Center in Brownsville.
She was born on December 17, 1910, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Vartan and Anna Hakalmazian. She was a retired Naval Base supply officer and was a member of the St. Paul Armenian Apostolic Church in Waukegan, IL.
She is survived by one daughter, Marilyn McHugh of Leitchfield,KY, her grandchildren, Robert and Daniel Clements, and Belinda Berry, her great grandchildren, Kristina, Debbie, John, Robby and Steven Clements and Mandy, Missy and Stacy Reames. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Zadigian, a son, Harold Zadigian and one grandson, William Clements.
Cremation was chosen. The Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield is in charge of the arrangements. There will be a memorial service at a later date at the St. Paul Armenian Apostolic Church in Waukegan.
