Ellen Burnett Davis, age 74, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (November 15, 2023) at Owensboro Health in Owensboro, KY.

She was born on November 07, 1949 in Millwood, KY, the daughter of the late Walter Walker "Bob" and Ruby Fussell Burnett.

She was a retired commercial graphic designer who had a thirst for knowledge for all things. She enjoyed reading, listening to podcasts, sculpting, painting, knitting and doing macramé. More than anything, she loved her grandkids.

She is survived by her daughter, Danielle Davis of Brownsville, KY; six grandchildren; Chelsey Davis-Lamothe (Zach), Katie Sims, Justin Sims, Daisy Sims, Ty Davis (Kaylan), & Jackson Davis; two beloved dogs Cujo & Shaggy; and six brothers & sisters, Joan Sapp (Ema), Charles Burnett (Brenda), Paul Burnett (Edie), David Burnett (Teresa), Marilyn Jessie & Jean Gonterman (John). Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Davis.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation was chosen and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
