Elroy "Shakey" Fulkerson, Sr., age 54, of Millwood, KY, passed away Saturday, (April 3, 2010) at his home.
He was born on December 9, 1954, in Grayson Co., KY, the son of Wilford Lee and Frances Louise Hatfield Fulkerson. He was employed by Scotts Waste and formerly owned and operated Shakey's Trucking.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma Janie Fulkerson, four sons, Elroy (Amanda) Fulkerson, Jr. of Millwood, Shelby W. (Brittany) Fulkerson of Leitchfield, Dalton J. Fulkerson of Millwood, and Shannon Lee (Kelly) Fulkerson of Caneyville, his mother, Frances L. Hatfield Fulkerson and friend Lee Henderson of Leitchfield, two brothers, Charles Fulkerson and Anthony Fulkerson both of Clarkson, three sisters, Carolyn Willis of Clarkson, Mary Smith of Leitchfield and Linda Fulkerson of Millwood, five grandchildren, Maggie, Sebastian, Addison, Damian and Aubryn Fulkerson. And his special friend, Harry Carwile He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday (April 6, 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Wayne Clemons will be officiating. Burial will be in the Kefauver Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
