Elsie Mae Glenn, age 90, of Martin, Tennessee, formerly of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (January 26, 2022) in Tennessee.

She was born on April 26, 1931 in Leitchfield, KY, the daughter of the late Charles and Jessie Eunice Beville.

She worked as a ward clerk for 21 years at Grayson Manor Nursing and Rehab. She enjoyed quilting and shopping at Goodwill and Thrift Stores. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Elsie was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Mark Nugent (Lori) of Lebanon, TN; two grandchildren, Aaron Nugent and Matt VanMeter (Ashley); and two great-grandchildren, Alayna Grace VanMeter and Fisher Lee VanMeter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Carlisle Nugent and second husband, Earl Glenn; daughter, Martha Ann VanMeter; granddaughter, Stacie Lynn VanMeter; brothers, Bill, James, Joe, and Ben Beville; and sisters, Reba Jacobs, Lorianne Dennison and Mildred Hayes.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, (February 5, 2022) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Sanders Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday (February 4, 2022) and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
