Elsie Wortham Hack, age 96, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (January 21, 2010) in Leitchfield.
She was born on September 3, 1913, in Sadler, KY, the daughter of Hayden Briscoe and Lillie Mae McClure Wortham. She was a housewife, a retired educator, a member of the Leitchfield First General Baptist Church, and a member of the Leitchfield Eastern Star Chapter 26.
She is survived by two sons, Marvin Hack (Sandra), and Arnold Hack (Zelma), both of Leitchfield; one daughter, Janice Willis (Billy) of Bowling Green, KY; eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild. She is also survived by two sisters-in laws, Audrey Wortham and Ilean Hack. She was preceded in death by her husband Erby Hack Sr., her parents, one son Erby Hack Jr., one great grandchild Rachel Geary, and four brothers, Forest, Earl, Charles, and James Ray (JR) Wortham.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:00p.m. (January 23, 2010) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Buddy Brooks will be officiating. Burial will be in the Williams Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of service.
