Elta Marie Renfrow, age 95, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Tuesday, (December 30, 2014) at Springview Nursing and Rehab in Leitchfield, KY.

She was born on January 5, 1919 in Butler Co., KY, the daughter of the late Bertram and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Woosley Lindsey.

She was a housewife, who enjoyed Gardening, flowers, sewing and quilting, was a member of the Shrewsbury Eastern Star where she served as treasurer for 50 years and a member of the Shrewsbury Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda Day (David), and Loretta Filip (Carl) both of Caneyville, and Lola Ann Woosley (Reed Smith) of Louisville, her sons, Joe Randall Renfrow of Caneyville and Thomas Richard Renfrow of Glendale, KY, eight grandchildren, Jeffrey Renfrow, Lynn Harris, Mary Elizabeth Renfrow Brown, William Joseph Renfrow, Jennifer Marie and James Lee Woosley and Matthew and Lucas Filip, four great grandchildren, Seth and Madison Renfrow and Isabell Marie and Emily Elizabeth Brown.

Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Sheldon Renfrow, a son, James Russell Renfrow, five brothers, Latney, Loma, Leburn, Hayward and Clayton Lindsey.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, (January 5, 2015) at the Dermitt Funeral Home. Bro. Ralph Beard will be officiating. Burial will be in the St Mary Cemetery in Butler Co, KY.

There will be an Eastern Star service on Sunday night at 6:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
